Gail and Jon got married about a block from the crashing ocean waves of Yachats State Park on a chilly and windy day just before Christmas. I met them at the Little Log Church where just their closest family and friends had gathered. Jon slid on his Tigger tie and Gail waited outside in the red cape she had made to be escorted in by her grandfather. Their officiant, Katrina led them through a beautiful ceremony. They honored those not there by including a really cool glass float ceremony where each person there could write their name on a shell or rock and add it to the globe and they also poured some of Gail's father's ashes and sand from the beach. It was really beautiful. After the ceremony there were hugs and tears and laughter galore. It's always such an honor to be part of intimate events like this.
