A lot of photographers say "I LOVE photography!". I don't. I don't dream of perfect exposures or have a camera attached to my body at all times. I don't know everything there is to know about a camera and I don't have a 500 pound bag of gear to haul around, and frankly I don't want one. Of course I enjoy this and have incredible passion for photography, but I don't do this because I love photography.
I love where photography takes me.
It takes me into moments between a bride and groom that no one else gets to see. It lets me hear the hearts of sleep-deprived brand-new moms and excited expectant parents. I get to play with exuberant children and goof off with high school students. It lets me be who I am and allows me to expose the beauty of others.
Because I don't do this for the LOVE of photography,
I do it for the LOVE of people.
